What is Embracing Ageing?
There's no escape from growing older - it happens to all of us - and many of us will have to face lifestyle changes or other challenges we hadn't anticipated or planned for. Apart from problems that affect us at any age, such as relationship difficulties, money worries and health concerns, we are more likely to have to face the physical changes that ageing brings - things like hearing loss, failing eyesight, mobility problems, loss of libido, etc. Alongside these, we will undoubtedly have to cope with bereavement more often. We may also experience feelings that time is running out for us, that technology is leaving us behind, that we're unable to cope in an increasingly fast-paced workplace, and we may start to feel depressed or anxious.
But it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. With a positive mindset you can meet these challenges head on. If you need some inspiration to help you feel more optimistic about ageing, my blog post entitled It's never too late gives examples of people who've been successful in later life and in some cases, made big lifestyle changes. They've all Embraced Ageing, and you can too.
So, if you want to regain your passion for life and look forward to a positive future, why not join the Embracing Ageing Community where we can share our experiences and support one another? Just click here or on the button at the bottom of this page to join.
I also offer hypnotherapy and coaching on line on a 1:1 basis, as well as small group sessions. Some of the issues I can help you with are shown below. Please contact me for a no-obligation chat if you would like further information.
