Freeing up time

As I've got older, I've found that I'm slowing down.  It seems to take me longer to do everything and there's so much I still want to do.  So, if you're like me, and struggle to find time to do what's important, here's a way you can identify where you are wasting time.  Once you've done that, you can allocate the time that you watch TV, for instance, to do something more useful, such as exercising, writing a chapter of your novel, pursuing a hobby, learning new skills, baking, meditating, etc.

Start by getting a piece of paper and dividing it into two columns.  In the left hand column write down all the things you normally do in a week, like this example:

Preparing meals, eating, washing up

134.5
As there are 168 hours in a week, you can see that in this example there are 33.5 spare for other things.  So no more excuses that you don't have time - just do this exercise and see what you can do less of to make room for what you want to do more of.
